Later this week information on prices and order forms wll be available but for now here is the general information about the 2008 Team Suits.
For 2008 we are using Agonswim as our swim suit vendor. We are offering three different suits. One swim suit for the women, one swim suit for the men and one water polo suit for the men. This decision was based on previous years orders for suits.
The male swim suit’s material is what Agonswim calls Streamline. The brief is crotched lined.
Streamline is a high technology fabric designed to reduce drag by its water repellent stripes. This fabric is knitted 87% polyester, 13% lycra, 240 grams per square meter, with water repellent resin stripes. Streamline is sleek and smooth to the touch. It is a denser fabric than Lycra.
The male water polo suit’s material is what Agonsim calls Speedline and is of the Euro Brief cut. This suit is fully lined front and back.
Speedline is 45% polyester, 55% PBT (texturized polyester with natural stretch similar to spandex), 170 grams per square meter. This fabric is chlorine resistant and has two way stretch, although not as much stretch as Lycra. Speedline is sleek to touch.
The female swim suit’s material is also Streamlined has the Proback cut.
Keep checking back this week for more information. Try on suits will be available starting Tuesday evening at the West Hollywood Pool for the swim suits & water polo suits. The water polo suits will be available on next Sunday’s water polo practice.
